Impromptu Tent City

Thank you all for your generosity!  We were able to raise $650 through store purchases and donations for Haiti Relief this past February.  The money was donated to Haiti through World Vision, an organization that has been involved in the country for more than three decades.  This donation will help distribute food, medicine & family survival kits that include- clean water, blankets, cooking supplies and tents.  Child-Friendly Spaces are also being created through donations which act as “safe havens for injured and traumatized children who are at risk of neglect and exploitation.”

As Pittsburgh finally thaws from 30″ snow and below average temperatures, I think we are more than ready for shorts, summer dresses and flip-flop weather (at least I am). Unfortunately, while I was sorting through dresses today I could not stop myself from putting out some wonderful, colorful summer dresses. I’m sorry winter purists, but I’m crossing my fingers that June comes two months early in 2010.
